Mi querida gente, un abrazo a la distancia. Cómo posiblemente saben hace tres meses fui cambiado de parroquia. Estuve 12 años en La Piedad, Nuestra Señora de las Angustias y ahora estoy en la Parroquia Divino Niño del Trigal. Recibí la parroquia con muchísimas carencias, la casa parroquial que prácticamente era inexistente, o mejor inhabitable ya está prácticamente lista. Y el templo que apenas iniciado no tenía altar ni forma de Iglesia, por así decir, ya está adelantado. Como no es secreto, la situación del país nos complica cada vez mas culminar esta casa para Dios y para los hijos de Dios. Cada domingo vendemos sopas, pasteles, helados, rifas, y cuánta ocurrencia tengamos, Pero nos damos cuenta que solo así no podremos y que necesitamos de ti. Me falta una segunda fase que es el piso del presbiterio, la parte propiamente del altar. La primera fase la cubrí con ayudas locales, de amigos generosos que quisieron darme una mano. Está segunda fase está en cero y por tanto me veo impulsado a contactarte, de manera que tú me ayudes a contactar personas que me puedan ayudar. Todo todo todo cuenta. Para concluir esta segunda fase estamos necesitando 7900 dólares americanos y nos urge no detener la obra. Queremos darle al niño Jesús este regalo, que pueda estar listo el día 14 de diciembre, en vísperas de las misas de aguinaldos. Cuento con ustedes. My dear friends, A big hug from afar! As you may know, three months ago I was assigned to a new parish. After spending 12 wonderful years at La Piedad, Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, I am now serving at Divino Niño del Trigal Parish. When I arrived, there were many needs, the rectory was practically uninhabitable, but now it’s almost ready! The church itself, which was barely started and had no altar or real form yet, has also made great progress. As it’s no secret, the situation in our country makes it increasingly difficult to complete this house for God and for His children. Every Sunday we sell soups, pastries, ice creams, raffle tickets, and anything else we can come up with! But we’ve realized that this alone won’t be enough, and that we need you. We’ve completed the first phase thanks to local support and the generosity of friends who gave me a hand. Now, we’re entering the second phase: finishing the presbytery floor, the very area of the altar. This phase hasn’t yet been funded, so I’m reaching out to you for help, either directly or by connecting me with others who may wish to support this mission. Every bit counts. To complete this second phase, we need $7,900 USD, and we’re eager not to stop the work. Our dream is to give Baby Jesus this gift, to have it ready by December 14th, just in time for the Misas de Aguinaldo. Since we were little, we’ve always asked Baby Jesus for blessings.
